An Italian submarine after being brought to the surface to surrender. The crew are on the deck waiting to be taken off by the destroyer's boats seen on the water. The submarine had been severely damaged by depth charges and was subsequently sunk by gunfire. Her crew had no fight left and were so anxious to leave her that they almost swamped the rescuing boats.
