Arden Packing Station, Arthur Gilbert, John Kirby, Portway, Henley
Meet a man who drives 300 miles each week over some of Warwickshires roughest roads and never breaks any of the 22,000 eggs his van carries at a time. He is Arthur Gilbert, who collects eggs for Henley in Arden Packing Station. Here he stoops to pick up eggs from 22 year old John Kirby, at the Fairways Pig and Poultry Farm, Portway. August 1957.
