Beachwear fashions. Swimsuit designer Jean Voigt thinks that back views have been too long neglected in the beachwear fashion field. To remedy this sad situation, he had produced what he is sure is the first swimsuit with a totally transparent rear. I'm sure he's right. Having had a preview of the Voigt line for '68, I can vouch for the fact that there's nothing between the model girl and the world at large other than a bit of transparent vinyl. For confirmation, see right. Voigt, a 25-year-old Dane who has worked for Pierre Cardin and also had his own couture business back home in Copenhagen, is just about to launch himself on the Paris fashion scene. Crazy bikini flowers as bikini top and plastic flower covered shorts. January 1968 P017624
