Biggin Hill Air, one 730hp
The Yakovlev Yak -11 was first produced in 1946; this Russian two-seat military trainer with retractable undercarriage was powered by one 730hp Shvetsov Ash-21 engine. Today modified versions of the Yak-11 are popular with air race enthusiasts and others have been repainted as ???war birds??. Pictured is a Czech built C-11 version at the Biggin Hill Air show on 11th May 1975.A Yak C11
