North East Shipwrecks - Pictured is the ??2m bulk carrier Oregis which went aground on the treacherous Black Middens at the mouth of the River Tyne. The jib of the floating crane Magnus X rest against the ship's bridge as an attempt is made to refloat the vessel. 28th March, 1974
