Aftermath of the Ismalia Riots 27th January 1952.The Ismalia riots represented a major clash between British Forces and Egyptian auxiliary police in Ismailia, Egypt.Ismailia is located on Lake Timsah along the coast of the Canal, half-way between Port Said and Suez. In presend day, The Ismailia Governorate is the capital of the Canal region where the Suez Canal Authority has its headquarters.
