World War, Former Land Army, Stocksfield, Peepy Farm, Two - Second
World War Two - Second World War - Former Land Army and Timber Girls, spent the afternoon baling hay with an old threshing machine. Their energetic display of how it was done 40 years ago delighted onlookers at the Steam and Vintage Tractor Show at Peepy Farm, Stocksfield. Despite a few aches and pains the women, all in their 60s, said they had throughly enjoyed the work because it brought back so many memories.17/10/1982
