Final day of the Iranian Embassy Siege in London where six gunmen of the Iranian extremist group Democratic Revolutionary Movement for the Liberation of Arabistan" stormed the building, taking 26 hostages before the SAS retook the embassy and freed the hostages.Two SO19 officers stand on the balcony of the building adjacent to the Embassy, after SAS soldiers threw thunderflashes through the windown to stun the hostages and terrorists inside and end the siege.5th May 1980.
