Phil Packer, Marathon Runner pictured walking through Canary Wharf in London on Day 10 of his charity walk to raise money for ???Help for Hero???s???, pictured 5th May 2009.Fifteen months ago the army major was told he would never walk again after he was paralyzed in a rocket attack in Basra, Iraq. Although he slowly regained some feeling in his legs, it was only in March this year that he managed his first steps. Yet with the help of crutches, 36-year-old Phil managed two miles of the Marathon each day - the maximum that doctors would allow - and was able to complete the 26-mile journey.
