Crime writer Ian Rankin is calling for more books to be made available to the visually impaired.Mr Rankin, whose son attends the Royal Blind School in Edinburgh, is set to launch his campaign today to mark the start of National Braille Week.2009 marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of Louis Braille and the launch of a campaign to raise ??2 million in order to rehouse the nation's leading Braille printing press.5th January 2009.
