Nightclub bouncer who was sacked after being exposed by his past as a vicious torturer.Rusmir Rakovac was given a doorman's badge by the government's Security Industry Authority - despite a history of violence.Now Glasgow nightclub Sea has got rid of bodybuilder Rakovac, who calls himself the Mad Bosnian". Up Front Security, the firm who supply doormen to city venues, have also sacked him.Rakovac and a pal bound and gagged a man in a horrific attack in 1998 before shooting him with an air pistol and threatening him with a knife.Details of his past emerged when he applied to Glasgow City Council to become a taxi driver and was knocked back after their more thorough background checks.Rakovac is still registered with the SIA. A spokeswoman said the authority would "not act on hearsay". "
