Tottenham fans at Portsmouth Magistrates Court on charges of indecent chanting aimed at Portsmouth defender Sol Campbell. The men were sentenced to a three-year football banning order, fined ??370, ordered to pay ??120 costs and ??15 to a victim surcharge fund after admitting taking part in disgusting and embarrassing chanting. Picture shows Dean Nelson.The court was told the hate-fuelled chants could be traced back to Campbell???s decision to leave Spurs for NorthLondon rivals Arsenal in 2001. He moved to Portsmouth two years ago. Richard Gibbs, 36, of Wokingham, Berks, Stuart Turner, 34, of Wellington, Telford, Shrops, Oliver Silvester, 28, of Southampton, and Keith Stevens, 54, of Hailsham, East Sussex, all pleaded guilty at Portsmouth magistrates??? court to the offence of indecent chanting.
