London: Herne Hill flooded after water main bursts
A burst water main near Herne Hill station in London has left people trapped in their homes and properties severely flooded. The burst is affecting three roads, with Dulwich Road, Herne Hill and Norwood Road all having to be closed. Fire crews using special dingy-style boats have been working to clear the water, which is estimated to be one metre deep and covers about 100 metres (328ft) of road.Commuters in the south London suburb of Herne Hill woke up to find the area completely submerged in water after a water main burst this morning.
