Nigel Evans MP
The former House of Commons Deputy Speaker and Conservative MP Nigel Evans (middle), leaving Preston Crown court in Lancashire, after pleading 'Not Guilty' during his plea and case management hearing. Mr Evans will enter formal plea over allegations of sexual offences against seven men. The 55-year-old is accused of two counts of indecent assault, five of sexual assault and one of rape. The charges date from 2002 to last year.24rd January 2014
