Welsh policeman Ken Williams, 40, has just moved to a new posting at Trearddur Bay, Anglesey, and with him he has taken his growing family of animals. Ken surrounded by his family as he treats an injured barn owl. Buttons, the kitten seeks the protection of the law in his helmet. Ken has a kestrel on his knee and a lanner falcon on his arm. Dedicated to the preservation of wild birds, Ken has appealed for people to bring injured birds to him in the hope that he can save at least a few. December 1969 Z12342-002
