When Father Christmas is on duty handing out toys and gifts to children, children become enraptured with the bewhiskered figure as he chats to them. The crowd gathered around enjoy it too, but Father Christmas gets the front view of delight. In this case he had a camera resting on his arm and as he distributed the toys at the Woodford School for Deaf Children in Churchfields, Woodford Essex, he saw in close up the expression that makes his job every bit a pleasure.
