Donald Campbell takes 'Bluebird' on Coniston Water for the first time. With Leo Villa and other mechanics after damaging the engine.4th November 1966.Campbell was killed instantly on 4th January 1967 whilst attempting to break his own water-speed record of 276mph. His craft 'Bluebird' flipped into the air at around 300mph.
