National Fire Service dispatch riders of Number 36 Fire Force Area practising on an assault course in Chigwell, Essex which has bomb craters, skid traps and other obstacles which are designed to train them to blitz conditions.One rider falls from his bike into the thick mud during the course.11th January 1944.
