Eight boys and girls from Beckfield secondary school, York, dressed in the traditional costume of the Bluecoat and Greycoat schools. The boys in the blue jacket with brass buttons and white ties, the girls in grey dresses with white pinafores and poke bonnets. They made a grand picture set in the York castle museum with its old shops and cobblestone streets. December 1966
