Fashion 1960s. The moll flanders look. All demure and frilled up to the eyebrows. That's the new look for bedtime as seen at the Angela Gore show of nightwear in Mayfair yesterday (15-9-64). We were inspired by Moll Flanders - heroine of Daniel Defoe's novel - in her mobcap", says designer Angela Boyes, whose latest ideas include floor-length housecoats and dressing gowns in fine spot or check lawns in easy-care synthetics with nighties to match.
