A famous Scottish sewing machine company is giving lessons to girls between the ages of eight and twelve on dressmaking. The girls from schools from all over Glasgow, take their lessons during the school holidays twice a week in the window of one of the firms shops. The passers by in busy Sauchiehall Street see the little girlsusing the latest sewing maching equipment while they make clothes for their dolls . 26th July 1955
