Heston Farm, Heston, Jennifer Burg, Pat Potter, Albert Rose
The harvest of 40,000 corn on the cob plants is being gathered at Heston, Middex. American visitors to this country will have their favourite cereal served in hotels, from this crop at Heston Farm, grown by Barnard and Albert Rose, who were one time ostrich farmers in South Africa. Jennifer Burg the small girl whose parents live on the farm, thinks the new corn very good fare, and goes around with Pat Potter to help gather the cobs. September 1948 P004372
