Invicta International Airways Vickers Vanguard, Axbridge Ladies, Axbridge, Switzerland, Hochwald
A Invicta International Airways Vickers Vanguard airliner flying from Bristol Lulsgate to Basle-Mulhouse crashed on a hillside near Hochwald, Switzerland. The accident on happened 10th April, 1973 killling 108 with 37 survivors. Many of the 139 passengers on the charter flight were women???members of the Axbridge Ladies Guild.Beneath the half-timbered houses of Axbridge women stand and discuss the tragedy.11/04/1973
