Large crowd gathered in Ridley Road E8 to demonstrate against former fascist leader Sir Oswald Mosley and members of his anti-Semitic Blackshirt group who had planned a rally in London's East End.Mosley and his anti-Semitic Blackshirt were assaulted and punched to the ground as soon as his meeting opened at Ridley Road, Dalston.Police closed the meeting within the first three minutes and made 54 arrests one of the arrested was Sir Oswald's son Max. 2nd August 1962 Our Picture Shows: Sir Oswald Mosley being knocked to the ground
