Merchant Navy, Middle East, Paignton, Devon, Primley
It Might come true! If, as the popular song says Wishing will make it so the dreams of these girls should come true in such a setting. The ancient Irish Wishing Seat has been transplanted in Primley, near Paignton, Devon, and for a few pence, you can sit in it and make your wish, but no money is refunded if results are not forthcoming. The girl on the left has a brother in Merchant Navy, and the girl on the right has her husband in the Middle East, so it's not difficult to imagine what their wishes are unless their wishes take in the world issues of today.
