Floral tributes at site of murder of the first British servicemen murdered in the Troubles.John McCaig 17 and brother Joseph McCaig 18 were shot dead in Ulster March 10th 1971.They had only been in Northern Ireland for a few days.The boys were blasted in the head and left in a ditch outside Belfast.With them was the body of their colleague in the Royal Highland Fusiliers, Dugald McCaughey from Glasgow.
