One of the more luxurious dining rooms aboard the Cunard liner Queen Mary. This picture was taken as the gigantic ship left Southampton on its maiden voyage. The liner sailed to Cherbourg before sailing on to New York. The liner arrived in New York on the 1st of June and was greeted by massive crowds, all cheering the majestic ships triumphant crossing.May 1936
