Pictured is the second USAF Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II close air support 'tankbuster' aircraft, in three weeks to make an emergency landing at Newcastle Airport. The pilot had reported partial hydraulic failure when he was 15 miles away. 13/04/1982
