Animals-Horses-Shetland Ponies. This Deserves A Horse Laugh. Shopping without petrol is no problem for Miss Grizel Ballantyne, of Sevenoaks, Kent. Twinkle, a six-year-old Shetland pony, is small enough to accompany her into the shops and makes light of the weight of two small baskets of provisions slung pannier fashion on the either side of her. Tou-Tou a be-ribboned French Poodle, leads the way as Twinkle leaves on shop and heads for another, remembering modestly that horses twice her age (though larger) have carried fifteen times her weight and won the Grand National.
