The R.101 the largest airship in the world, crashed into the side of a hill at the village of Allone near Paris, shortly after two o'clock this morning (October 5th. 1930), and burst into flames. Only seven of those on board were saved. Policemen examine the remains of one of the giant Airship's engines. P001104
