Parliament Hill Fields, Richard Hollows, Uncle Jingles, mike
3 yr old makes his bow and takes the prize. Richard Hollows aged 3 competed in a children's entertainment competition at Parliament Hill Fields and by his clever rendering of nursery rhymes won the prize. He came up alone and took his turn with 16 other competitors, and insisted on the mike being held in the correct position by the L.C.C. Uncle Jingles. He was by far the youngest and least perturbed competitor. August 1947 P012165
