Only the brave will forgo the warmth of their beds to stay up all night in temperatures that fell to 26 degrees F. Nearly 60 did just this last night in their bid to book chalets at the Co-op. private holiday camp at Rhyl, North Wales. By sunrise a long queue was forming outside the booking office in King Street, Coventry. A wash tub brazier filled with logs helped to keep out the cold. 2nd February 1969
