Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain seen here travels to Germany for talks on the Czechoslovakian crisis. Adolf Hitler wanted the partition of the Sudetenland, which was populated by a German minority. If this was not given to him Hitler made it clear that the Nazi' government would take Germany to war. Chamberlain flew to Munich to secure peace.
