World War II Hospitals: In Germany the penalty for reading leaflets dropped by the R.A.F. was imprisonment or death. That is Nazi dictatorship. In England, leaflets were dropped by the German air force yesterday. They were picked up and sold as souvenirs to swell the Red Cross funds. Just an example of British Democracy. August 1940 P012281
